PNP and NPN switching signals of the sensor (2)
Apr 03, 2023
PNP and NPN sensors generally have three lead lines, namely the power line VCC (power supply positive), 0V line (power supply negative), and Out signal output line.
In practical applications, the PNP type is commonly used, that is, the high-level active state; NPN is rarely used.
a. For PNP-NO type:
b. For PNP-NC type:
When there is no signal trigger, the same voltage as the VCC power line is issued, that is, the out line is connected to the power line VCC, and a high-level VCC is output.
